To attend in the First International Para Skiing Championship in Iran
Iran’s first International Skiing championship kicks off in Dizin and Darband Sar in Tehran.
In the upcoming competitions 27 skiers from Iran, Serbia, Turkey and Armenia are to compete for medals. This international skiing championship features races in alpine skiing with 15 skiers and snowboard skiing with 7 skiers. In addition, 5 Iranian skiers will compete in both alpine and snowboard skiing.
Snowboard competitions will be held on January 3rd and 4th and a snowboard refereeing course will be delivered from January 2nd to 5th by Dmitry Lazarovski, IPC winter sport’s president.
In the run-up to alpine races, there is going to be an alpine refereeing course on 6 of January. Alpine skiing competitions will be held on January 8. A skiing competition will take place for skiers with no impairment on January 10.
